Gentle reminder of a very important meeting Monday -- Moms and Dads I need you there. We will review the calendar, get you some good information for new Grand Officers and discuss the new year long payment plan to Grand Assembly - Supreme Assembly in July and other "Hope Happenings!"
The girls will have a fun project to do in another room, and can chat up the great time they had a Grand Assembly!!
Thank you everyone for making time for your daughters! I can't tell you how many compliments I received at Grand Assembly about "our" girls - thank you - they are a GREAT bunch of kids!
In Rainbow Love and Service,
Mother Advisor
Hope Assembly of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, Germantown, MD It's what we're doing, where we are going and all the fun we're having!

WHEW!
We made it! OMG and holy buckets batman! Maryland's Grand Assembly for 2012 is in the books, we are sleep deprived, tired and even a bit sleepy.
But our Grand Officers did a GGGRRREAAATTTT JOB!!!!! I am so very proud of you all.
I can't tell you how many times I was told what a fabulous job you girls did all weekend....
AND to our new Grand Officers - all 7 (yes seven) of you.... we are going to have one heck of a busy year.
Today take a nap, go to be early, get ready for a new week and I will see you NEXT Monday night.
<------- check the calendar!
OH and Moms and Dads - we're going to have a nice long talk... as soon as I can think of something other than what time do I have to have 9 girls dressed and ready? And whose goofy idea was a 1:30 AM curfew?
And - NO you cannot go back upstairs for the 12th time - dinner is starting go sit down and get over whatever the issue of the minute is... put on the dress and move it - you are late.
Again - I am so very very proud of all of you girls, sincerely, and after all that, you ALL worked hard and earned every bit of praise you received.
BRAVO!
Did any stuffed elephants make it home??? And did anyone name them?
Oh and I'll post email pictures when I get my phone back... our Past Grand Worthy Advisor wandered off with it... mistakenly.

Its the final countdown!!!
For the parents anyone remember the movie that gave us that song? (look up Vision Quest - and don't ask how I remember this stuff)
Some Wednesday thoughts - the day before we leave for Grand Assembly:
1) PACK TONIGHT - see the packing list I emailed and posted below
2) Remember white under clothes for under your white dresses
3) No black or dark nail polish for the Grand Officers
4) Meeting at the lodge at 5:00 PM. (Stadler family leaving early - anyone want to ride up earlier?)
5) Let's get ready to have some FUN!
6) Cheer our 6! Grand Officers and watch on Saturday night as the count down clock begins for Sam G... one year away to her installation as Grand Worthy Advisor - won't that be something!
Who will win a Ritual Competition Trophy this year?
Which new girl will cry first at Grand Assembly? - I think Sam G holds the record there...
Who will be selected to a Grand office this year?
Who will represent what state this year?
Who has an out of state guest coming?
Who will be tired on Sunday? EVERYONE!!!! (insert cheering here -- roar of the crowd)
I am looking forward to spending all this quality time with you all - Moms and Dads enjoy the quiet! Especially Sunday afternoon.
